Isle Royale National Park Architecture

My wife has been coming to Isle Royale with her family every summer of her life to volunteer on the Johns Hotel restoration project, and I have joined them the past three years. It is my intention to photograph and illustrate every structure including ranger stations, welcome centers, concessions, lighthouses, lodges, cabins, towers, and more. I plan to compile them into a map and guidebook of all the park’s architecture.
